Surface Prep & Priming

Abrasive blasting or sanding, solvent wipe, and primer application for adhesion and corrosion resistance per ISO 12944 system specification.

Base Coat Application

HVLP spray in temperature/humidity-controlled booth. Multiple passes achieve uniform coverage and colour accuracy within ΔE <1.0.

Clear Coat & Drying

2K clear coat applied for UV resistance and gloss protection, followed by force-drying at 60–80°C or ambient cure as specified.

DFT & Color Check

Dry film thickness measurement, spectrophotometer colour delta-E check, adhesion cross-hatch test, and full visual inspection.

Powder coating applies dry electrostatically-charged powder which is oven-cured, producing a thick (60–120 μm) thermosetting film. Spray painting applies liquid paint in multiple layers (25–200 μm total DFT). Spray painting offers better colour accuracy for complex shades, better performance on large or irregular assemblies, and can be applied on-site. Powder coating offers better edge coverage and zero VOC.
Yes. We use spectrophotometer-based digital colour matching to achieve ΔE <1.0 against any RAL Classic, RAL Design, NCS, or Pantone reference. We can also match physical colour samples you provide. Custom colour formulation typically takes 1–2 working days before production commences.
We support the full ISO 12944 corrosion category range from C1 (dry indoor) through C5-M (marine offshore). Each category requires a specific paint system. Please specify the intended service environment and expected service life (low/medium/high) when requesting a quote so we can specify the correct primer-intermediate-topcoat system.
Our largest spray booths accommodate parts up to 3000 × 1200 × 1000 mm. For larger assemblies or on-site painting, please contact us to discuss available options.
We use calibrated dry film thickness (DFT) gauges to verify every coat meets specification. Colour is checked with a spectrophotometer (ΔE measurement). Adhesion is verified by cross-hatch test per ISO 2409. All results are documented in the inspection report issued with each order.
Yes. Spray painting can be applied over cured powder coat, provided the surface is properly abraded and cleaned. We can apply touch-up areas, additional corrosion protection layers, or decorative topcoats over powder coat. Surface preparation method depends on the existing coating condition.
