Material Expertise

Why Material Selection Matters

Performance Matching
Wrong material selection leads to premature failure. Our engineers match material properties — strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, and thermal stability — to your actual service conditions.
Machinability Expertise
Every material machines differently. Titanium requires low speed and high-pressure coolant. Copper is gummy. Plastics need sharp tools and controlled heat. We have dedicated setups for every material family.
Certified Material Supply
All materials come with mill certifications and full heat traceability. For aerospace, medical, and defense applications, third-party material testing and compliance documentation is available.
Surface Treatment Guidance
Not all finishes work on all materials. We advise on anodizing for aluminum, passivation for stainless, plating for copper and steel, and coating options to maximize part performance and longevity.
Cost Optimization
Exotic materials cost significantly more to machine. Where performance allows, we suggest cost-effective alternatives — e.g. 6061-T6 vs 7075 for non-critical structural parts, saving 30–50% on material cost.
Prototype to Production
We machine prototype quantities for testing, then scale to full production with the same material, same setup, and identical quality controls — no re-qualification required when you move to volume.
