Fluid Distribution Blocks

Custom CNC machined fluid distribution blocks — multi-circuit flow splitting (1→6, 1→8, up to 1→16 outlets), cross-drilled internal channels H7/H8, integrated flow paths, port position ±0.01 mm. Leak-tested at 1.5× rated pressure. Available in Al 6061, SUS316L, Ti Gr5, and PEEK for cooling, hydraulic, and precision fluid control.

Fluid Distribution Block Challenges

A distribution block must split or combine flow uniformly across all outlets — asymmetric channel geometry or misaligned ports create unequal flow distribution that degrades system performance.

Flow Uniformity
Channel cross-sections must be consistent — any diameter variation between parallel channels causes preferential flow through the lower-resistance path. HXC holds channel diameter tolerance to H7/H8 for uniform flow distribution.
Multi-Face Interface Accuracy
Distribution blocks connect to plumbing on multiple faces. All port positions must be accurate relative to each other — a misaligned outlet misaligns the downstream connection. Port position verified by CMM.

Leak-Free Assembly
Every internal channel junction and threaded port must be leak-free. HXC pressure-tests all distribution blocks at 1.5× rated pressure for 5 minutes with zero pressure drop before shipment.

Equal flow distribution requires: (1) Consistent channel diameter — all parallel channels machined to H7/H8 tolerance with the same reamer or boring bar; (2) Symmetric flow path geometry — channel junction angles designed for equal resistance; (3) CMM verification of all port diameters. For precision flow applications, we can machine channels to ±0.005 mm diameter consistency.
Yes — HXC machines orifice plates, needle valve seats, and restrictor inserts as integrated features in distribution blocks. Orifice diameter tolerance: ±0.005 mm. Restrictor seat geometry verified by CMM.
Up to 16 outlets on a single block machined in one setup. For more than 16 outlets, a daisy-chain design (two blocks, one primary and one secondary) is more practical — HXC can design and supply matched pairs.
BSP, BSPT, NPT, metric ISO, SAE straight thread O-ring boss — all standard fluid system port threads. All threads are gauged Go/NoGo after machining.
Al 6061: standard for cooling and low-pressure distribution. SUS316L: chemical, pharmaceutical, and food-grade distribution. Ti Grade 5: aerospace and weight-critical systems. PEEK: high-temperature or chemically aggressive fluids.
Yes — HXC can install push-in fittings, tube stubs, or Parker/Swagelok-type fittings as part of the supply. All fittings are leak-tested after installation.
Ultrasonic cleaning in alkaline solution, followed by clean water rinse and compressed air dry. Port plugs installed before packing. For food and pharma grade: passivation + cleanroom packing.
